Osseous Surgery
In cases of advanced periodontitis, patients may experience bone and tooth loss. To restore the smile to optimal function, a severely compromised tooth may need to be replaced and the tissue reinforced through some form of bone grafting. During osseous surgery, the affected area is thoroughly cleaned and the bone is reinforced. If a tooth must be replaced, our Pasadena periodontists may recommend dental implants as a permanent restorative solution that reinforced bone strength as well as dental function.
Outside immediate treatment, our patients are also placed on a maintenance plan, supplemented with comprehensive at-home hygiene instructions. By maintaining regular communication and cleanings, our team is able to help individuals regain former oral health, function, and aesthetics.
